Six CBS Players Selected for Namibian U17 National Team
In a proud moment for CBS Academy, six of its budding talents have been selected to don the colors of the Namibian U17 National Team. The players, namely Rodriguez Ganeb, Fabiano Awaseb, Del’Piero Koam, Rashid Naobeb, Rowan Oaseb, and Snewe Katjirua, have been chosen for their exceptional skills and dedication to the sport.
These promising athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities on the international stage as Namibia’s U17 National Team gears up to face a Selection Team from Westphalia, Germany, in two friendly matches. The matches are scheduled to take place on March 27th in Swakopmund and March 30th in Gobabis.
These friendlies hold significant importance as they mark the initial steps in preparing for the U17 COSAFA CUP scheduled for December 2024. It’s a chance for these young talents to gain invaluable experience, hone their skills, and contribute to the success of Namibian soccer on the international front.
