CBS on International Tour at South African Premier Clubs!
In July 2024 the CBS U17 team spent one week in South Africa and played exciting matches against various top level teams:
CBS vs Panorama FC (3 – 0)
CBS vs Supersport United FC (0 – 4)
CBS vs Kaizer Chiefs FC (3 – 2)
CBS vs Capital City FC (5 – 3)
The trip started 2 am in the morning on 6 July. It took more than 20 hours to get by bus from Windhoek to Johannesburg. For some of the players it was the first time travelling internationally.
Physically Team CBS could cope well with their South African opponents. On the technical side there is still room for improvement. But results as outlined above show clearly that we are on the same level. CBS acts as a strong team with great fighting spirit and strong mentality!
Next international challenge for team CBS will be an international tournament on level of U17 German Bundesliga. We will report soon about this upcoming event!
