TEAM CBS 2025 – STATISTICS
In January 2025 the new school year started again in Namibia. The Namibian Youth Soccer Leagues will resume within next 4 weeks as of end February 2025.
CBS Academy has taken by January 13 new talents from all over Namibia on board:

- Christiano van Wyk (Rundu)
- Oliven van Wyk (Rundu)
- Stephen Kamulu (Walvisbay)
- Mexes Garoreb (Swakopmund)
- Adriano van Wyk (Rehoboth)
- Hans Ubiteb (Otjiwarongo)
This results in an overall CBS setup for year 2025 of 40 players. A share of 21 players enjoy a CBS sponsored scholarship including hostel accommodation at Jan Mohr School. CBS has a very successful partnership with Jan Mohr School since more than 3 years. School and CBS Arena are located adjacent to each other so that players have a short walking distance from school to training and back. In the late afternoon after training all players eat together at CBS Arena. Nutrition is a crucial factor for sportive success!
The majority of all players is equally split over the birth years 2007 / 2008 / 2009.
Year 2025 started already great for team CBS by winning Silver behind gold medalist Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa in the international HopHydro Cup Namibia which took place in Windhoek from 17th to 19th of January 2025. Participating players (20) attended a training camp for two weeks in Windhoek as preparation for this high level international tournament.
