Four CBS Players called up for U17 National Team

Four of our players from the CBS Talents Academy have been selected to represent Namibia in the U17 national team, highlighting the academy’s growing impact on youth football development.

The selected players are Vijakura Mbatemua and Romano Gaoseb, both playing as center backs, Craig Cody Muukweli in midfield, and goalkeeper Leo Scholz. Their inclusion in the national squad reflects their strong performances and potential on the field.

The Namibian U17 team is set to face Westfalen, a regional team from Germany, in two exciting international matches. The first game will take place in Walvis Bay on Saturday, 28 March 2026, followed by a second match in Windhoek on Friday, 3 April 2026. These fixtures will provide valuable experience for the young players as they compete against European opposition.

The presence of four CBS Talents Academy players in the squad is a proud moment for the academy and shows the quality of talent being developed.
